In any case the pledge giver is responsible for the rented vehicles. The period of rent ends when the vehicles are given back to the owner, i.e. the Radverleih.

The pledge (document of identification) will only be handed over to the pledge giver after the rented vehicles have been returned and the renting fees and possible charges for damages have been paid. The pledge serves as a guarantee of identity and security until all claims and demands have been settled.

In case of damages or breakdowns of the rented vehicles during the renting period, the hirer has no right to compensation of time.

For damages on persons or third party property which are caused by the hirer while using our vehicles, only the pledge giver is held responsible. In no case is the owner, i.e. the Radverleih, liable for such damages.

• Our vehicles will only be lent to customers in exchange for a valid picture ID or a similar document as a pledge.
• The pledge giver is held responsible for all vehicles rented with his/her pledge.
• The pledge giver is liable for all damages on the vehicles which are caused by improper usage.
• The hirers are responsible for all damages on third party property and persons that are caused while using the rented vehicles.
• The compliance with currently valid traffic regulations lies in the responsibility of the customers. In case of damages caused by the breach of these regulations, no claims can be made against the Radverleih.
• The use of child's seats is voluntary and free of charge when desired, yet at the customer's own risk. The Radverleih does not take responsibility for any damages on persons and property that result from the use of these seats.
• By receiving one of our vehicles, the customer accepts the terms and conditions of Radverleih Hochschaubahn, 1020 Vienna, Prater 113.

Important notice:

Rickshaws may not be used by more persons than indicated on the price list. The child's seats at the rickshaws are suitable for two children up to 20 kg at the maximum.

Riding a rickshaw is only allowed on even and paved roads. The riding speed has to be chosen in such a way that it is always possible to stop the vehicle before it comes to a collision with persons or obstacles. In case of skidding, turning over and/or wild driving as well as exceeding the maximum number of persons allowed on the rickshaw, the Radverleih takes the right to charge Euro 25.- in addition to renting fees and charges for damages.
The same amount has to be paid by the customer if a person clinges to the side, front or back of the rickshaw.
